Temperatures

What is the temperature since the beginning of the year?

Climatological data in Aosta Valley

The climatological stations are characterized by long and coherent series of precipitations. The weather station considered are Saint-Christophe and Issime.

The picture shows the average daily temperature since the beginning of the year compared with the average year. The positive difference is in red, whereas the negative is in blue. The grey area represents the standard values calculated on 30 years of data, whereas the blue and red lines are the minimum and maximum values recorded day by day for the whole historical series.

Historical comparison

Historical temperature series of our stations

The climatological stations are characterized by a long and coherent series of precipitations. The weather stations considered are Saint-Christophe and Issime.

The pictures show some temperature indicators aggregated by different time steps (yearly, seasonal, monthly). The value corresponding to the last year is highlighted in a different colour. The 'days of frost' are the days in which the minimum temperature went below 0 °C; The 'days of ice' are the days in which the maximum temperature stayed below 0°C; The 'summer days' are the days in which the maximum temperature went above 25 °C.

Temperature mean values

Each point in the graph is the mean temperature of a weather station related to its altitude. The orange points are referred to the selected year, whereas the grey points are referred to the average temperature of the previous years. The straight lines are the linerar regressions of those lines.
